Hello and welcome to our world! This is a place we can share all the fun (and not so fun) adventures of our family.
We are a family of four, plus a furry friend we call Zeke. We live in Central Texas where we enjoy all the great things the area has to offer - gotta love it! We enjoy being outside as much as possible and take full advantage of our fishing boat. With as many lakes as we have - why wouldn't we??
About Me (aka Mom/Dawn/Blog Updater/etc)
I am a 30 something year old who is just lucky. I spent my childhood in a military family and was able to live all over the world. I called Wiesbaden home for 3 years. I saw the Berlin wall go down and have a piece of it. I was able to visit several European countries before the age of 12. I spent the rest of my childhood in Alabama. The locals call it LA (lower alabama) but I called it high school. I made some friends there that I still love dearly today. After high school my dad was shipped back to Texas where I set my roots and call home. After the college experience I did what we all do, got a job and tried to live life. A few years back, I met the only person I think could put up with me and we are now married with 2 kids. I have a roof over my head and healthy kids-I am truly lucky and blessed!

About the Hubby (aka Dad/Robert/Fisherman/etc)
My hubby grew up in central Texas. He spent all his school years in one city. If you have not picked up already-complete opposite of me! He left for college but came back when he was done. It still amazes me how we can walk in a store and he runs into a high school friend. My hubby does IT stuff and loves to fish and take out our boat. He is a great dad and our kids LOVE him!
About the boy (aka Mason/Stinker/Brother, etc)
Oh my son. What can I say? He is just like his dad in that he likes healthy food and loves to help outside. He loves to help his dad period! He is very determined to do whetever he wants at the moment and fights going to bed. He is always asking to stay up with daddy and watch baseball. He is so sweet and at the right moments will give me/sister the best hugs.

Oh brother, I am in trouble! Baby girl has me under her control already! She is mini me all the way. She loves junk food and sleeping late. She loves to go shopping with me and sit on my lap when I read to her. She is also interested in whatever her brother is doing. She copies him and this will drive brother crazy, but for now he just deals.
