T-Ball

We decided to give a team sport a try. Mason loves watching baseball with his dad, so we are trying out Wee Ball (T-Ball). There are four teams. All are Gators but each is a separate color.

These pictures are from his first practice about a week and a half ago. Here is what I have gathered in the few practices we have attended:
*Mason loves to field the ball. He will hustle to any part of the field to retrive the ball. He has made a few good catches and seems to be getting the hang of this.
*He is also a runner (gets that from his dad) and does really well running the bases. He knows where to go and doesn't have to be told anymore.
*Batting, well, that is a work in progress :)

Our first game was scheduled for today but was rained out. First game will be next weekend.
Go Orange Gators!!

Play Ball!

A couple of weeks ago we ventured to the south side of San Antonio for a minor league game. While the Missions lost, the stadium was fun and we were in great company! Robert got the kids snow cones in a cup and miss Autumn was occupado for at least 3 innings. Score!
Next stop will surely be the Round Rock express. Love having baseball so close to our home.

G's Birthday and Go Rangers!

We went to G's birthday party on Saturday. G's party was green and firetrucks. The real fire department came by and the kids loved it. I was able to get a few pics on my phone.
It was at the park so the kids played for several hours and had a great time.
Later that evening we went to another friends house and had a Rangers watch party. Kids were great and all played nicely ~ go Rangers!
*The Rangers lost, but it was still fun to hang out*
