Autumn's Birthday Party

Autumn's birthday was a great day! As her birthday was on Saturday, we were able to have her birthday party on her actual birthday! Mason and I started the day by going into her room to get her up with the video camera in hand, and Mason helped me sing/wish Autumn a happy birthday. My parents arrived about 11:30 and after a lunch and a trip to Target, we started to prepare for the party. The party started at 4, and we had yummy Rudy's BBQ and cake waiting for everyone.
Autumn spent the afternoon crawling all over and playing in the sandbox and jumpy house grandma bought. She also spent some time walking aroung the backyard pushing a little cart. The boys (Mason, Lee, Garrett, and Reagan) ran all over my house and played with every toy in sight. I love it!! The little boys (Parker and Andrew) sat outside in the shade and just took it all in. Little Parker even did a little crawling-yeah! Miss Grace did a little of everything.
I did get a pinata for the party - why not?!? The kids had fun swinging a toy golf club and trying to break it open. In the end, we just ripped the thing open and let the kids have at it!
After the pinata was the cake. Autumn had her own mini cake to enjoy, and she did enjoy it. It took her a few minutes but then she got it. The bigger cake for the rest of us was so cool.
After a quick round of present opening, the party was officially over. A couple of our friends did stay a bit longer and we just chilled in the back while the kids played longer.
It was a perfect day to celebrate this gorgeous creature God blessed me with. Autumn~mommy loves you more than you will ever know.
